LANE CLOSURES ON NC-42 NEAR CLAYTON
Various lanes will be closed overnight on NC-42 between US-70 and Glen Laurel Road in order to prepare for the widening of NC-42. The lane closures will occur over a two week period ending in late May. NC-42 will remain open to traffic during the nightly lane closures and traffic will be directed through the work zone by flaggers. Motorists can expect brief delays and are advised to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
