NCDOT forces will be taking down an overhead sign structure over US-52 southbound lanes that was deemed unsafe.

Motorists should follow signed detour route. All southbound traffic will need to exit at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive(exit 110C). Stay on Linden Street and turn left on 5th Street. Turn right on MLK and follow detour signs for US 52 south and I-40 business east and west. |
