2 OF 4 LANES CLOSED ON I-85 SOUTHBOUND AT MM 28 IN CHARLOTTE, IN MECKLENBURG COUNTY

Due to an earlier vehicle accident, the right two lanes are closed, south of Sam Wilson Road, Exit 29, on the Mecklenburg, Gaston County line. The lanes are not expected to re-open until later in the morning of Monday, February 6th. Motorists should use caution when traveling in the area and expect delays.

Motorists may wish to use the following alternate route: I-485 Outer Loop (Exit 30 A) to Wilkinson Boulevard (Exit 9). West on Wilkinson Boulevard to NC - 273; right turn back to I-85 South.

ALL LANES OF I-40 WESTBOUND IN NORTH CAROLINA HAVE BEEN REOPENED IN HAYWOOD COUNTY

All lanes of I-40 Westbound in North Carolina have been reopened in Haywood County following the previous rock slide. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area, as 1 of 2 lanes remains closed near Exit 451 (Waterville Road) in Tennessee for maintenance following the rock slide.
